Can Bauer RV Door Latch BA64FR Be Installed In Either Orientation ?

Does the BA64FR handle replacement work for both a right hand and a left hand door? Having a hard time finding a replacement handle for that size opening with a left side hinge. Thanks

Hey Adam, most latches, including Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock - Black # BA64FR, can be installed in either orientation. You'll just set up the striker plate differently so that everything aligns properly. We get this question from time to time on this particular part, so it's definitely a common situation.

What kind of RV do you have? And did the old latch just break from being on there awhile?
