It’s easy to remove 4 screws to measure your opening and then order another door lock that will fit. We especially like that ours has the access keys alike for simplicity.
Product is OEM exactly what I needed for 2014 Forest River fr3 30ds. Installed in about 20mn. Jeremy at etrailer was very helpful from ordering product right on through to delivery. Recieved package sooner than promised which was a pleasant bonus.No modification was needed

After a year, the lock is still performing well. Occasionally I will forget that the direction to turn the key to engage the deadbolt is opposite from the Trimark lock, resulting in mistakenly thinking the lock has malfunctioned. Once I realize this, I simply turn the key in the other direction and the deadbolt unlocks.
I spent hours on the internet trying to find an older and rarer door latch for our Featherlite gooseneck horse trailer. I was about to give up when I discovered etrailer.com. I immediately called to confirm that what they were showing was real and available. It was! I ordered it and it arrived in just a few days. It was an exact fit and only took minutes to install. You made my day, and you will be my first stop the next time I need something for one of our trailers. Plus, the person who took my order was terrific, friendly, and took the time to ensure that what they had was exactly what I needed. Very seldom to find an American on the other end of the line! Love it!
Bought the Bauer Motorhome door lock to replace the original on my horse trailers dressing/tack room door. It replaced the original exactly and was able to keep saddles and bridles safe and secure. Was able to replace the old lock in about 15 minutes. Great buy and great service from etrailer!
I have absolutely no complaints. It was better than the original and I will not hesitate to buy from you again.

Great,no problems whatsoever
First the good news... This lock was nearly a drop-in replacement for the OEM lock on my RV door. All it took was a tiny bit of filing, and the lock fit into place neatly and snugly. Truth is, I didn't even replace the existing striker plate, as the lock functioned fine with the old one. I've been using it for around a year, and the new lock works fine, and shows no signs of wear. Then some bad news... Unfortunately, and despite the drop in fit, the inside unlatch lever on the new lock is in a slightly different place than the old one, resulting in insufficient clearance through the opening in my inside screen door to (conveniently) reach the latch, and no way to pull the door closed from the inside. An unsatisfying workaround was provided by drilling a hole in the new latch and attaching a short "leash" to pull the door closed. This proved a hassle, and since we don't use it anyway, I ended up just removing the inside screen door completely. I suppose I could make another "workaround" by modifying the screen door, or just buying a new one, but either is more trouble than it's worth.
Serious upgrade from the OEM door latch circa 2006. Needed to modify the cut out on the door frame to align the strike plate with the latch bolt but works smoother than it ever has since I bought it 11 years ago

Great lock, needed a little modification to fit in the Trimark footprint, had to remove some metal off the web below the deadbolt latch, needed this on my 2002
Coachman, some other motorhome models may not need this, other than that fit just fine, works slick as a whistle.

Still working fine, no problems at at.
With just a little bit of modification for the strike plate mounting this latch fit perfect and was an exact replacement
This lock broke at the one year mark. I locked it with the key from the outside, and the lock jammed and would not turn either way. I had to unscrew from the inside and wrench the locking mechanism open.
Fit as expected, easy installation.

The camper door has worked great with no problem.
The Bauer Motorhome Door Lock is built to last. I knew it would be since I've owned its twin for many years without ever a latch-related problem. It's been on a horse trailer changing room door stored outdoors. It has opened easily and never showed any signs of spring weakening or sluggish handle operation, nor - incredibly - did it ever show any signs of corrosion.
I cannot leave this review without mentioning that I bought it from etrailer. They were excellent. The lock arrived early but the tracking was tremendous. Each person who handled the order posted their picture and told what part they played in filling the order. Amy, our customer service representative, even add a short biography. What nice touches etrailer added to our purchase experience!!
Needed to replace the door latch on an older Exiss horse trailer. This latch worked. Easy process buying from trailer.

The locking rod was to long which prevented the lock to slide into the door opening. Ended removing the lock cover and removing locking rod. Then the lock would slide into the opening, then reinstall locking rod and cover.

Glad to hear it fit, Kris! I would say it would be nice if everyone measured things before just buying things all willy-nilly, but then some of us might be out of a job! : P What did you get this Bauer door lock for? Couldn't tell what you have from your picture.
