Good product and fit as described. I replaced the broken latch on our living quarters horse trailer.
With only one lever inside, the new lock is easier to use. The 2nd keyhole on the handle only locks the handle on the outside, not the inside.
First the good news... This lock was nearly a drop-in replacement for the OEM lock on my RV door. All it took was a tiny bit of filing, and the lock fit into place neatly and snugly. Truth is, I didn't even replace the existing striker plate, as the lock functioned fine with the old one. I've been using it for around a year, and the new lock works fine, and shows no signs of wear. Then some bad news... Unfortunately, and despite the drop in fit, the inside unlatch lever on the new lock is in a slightly different place than the old one, resulting in insufficient clearance through the opening in my inside screen door to (conveniently) reach the latch, and no way to pull the door closed from the inside. An unsatisfying workaround was provided by drilling a hole in the new latch and attaching a short "leash" to pull the door closed. This proved a hassle, and since we don't use it anyway, I ended up just removing the inside screen door completely. I suppose I could make another "workaround" by modifying the screen door, or just buying a new one, but either is more trouble than it's worth.
It fit right , it works right , locks right but but the reason for 4 stars an not five is for some reason on the inside there is just barely enough room to get your finger tips behind the handle to shut the door.... I thought about trying to bend it out a bit , then realize I would probably break it not bend it so we live with it
Bought the Bauer Motorhome door lock to replace the original on my horse trailers dressing/tack room door. It replaced the original exactly and was able to keep saddles and bridles safe and secure. Was able to replace the old lock in about 15 minutes. Great buy and great service from etrailer!

Carol, the lock after a little adjusting fit my door opening, but still had a little trimming and tapping to do before it sat square in the hole. it only has the deadbolt from the inside the latch lock it only engaged from the outside of the door. You Got the lock Here and got us back on the road! Thank you Roy
While the lock fit the hole in the door, the surface plate did not cover the same unpainted area on the door. Also, there was not instructions included.

This product does not come with instructions but you should be able to unscrew the door handle from the inside of the camper to take it off and this one would install the same.
Fit perfectly.
The pins were a little longer than the original lock, but I made it fit.
The lock is well constructed and easy to install.

Same model replacement.
Used this to replace the old and busted Trimark 1993/72130 (IYKYK). New Bauer latch (#BA64FR) bolted directly into the existing hole. Super easy install just a couple minor mods with a grinder to get things to line up nice and pretty. Totally worth the extra shipping to get it overnight. Ordered at 4:00pm MT arrived 17hrs later.
Perfect replacement for the Trimark locks that break. Easy to install. Excellent customer support from etrailer.com if you have any questions.

After a year, the lock is still performing well. Occasionally I will forget that the direction to turn the key to engage the deadbolt is opposite from the Trimark lock, resulting in mistakenly thinking the lock has malfunctioned. Once I realize this, I simply turn the key in the other direction and the deadbolt unlocks.
The lock installed without any difficulty and worked correctly without any further adjustment. Delivery was good too.
Worked perfect, I have a 2015 Prizm Coachman and the door lock fit perfectly.I thought I would have to modify the door opening because the opening was 41/2” x 5” but I didn’t have to. Tight fit but no modifications. Also very fast shipping.
Product is OEM exactly what I needed for 2014 Forest River fr3 30ds. Installed in about 20mn. Jeremy at etrailer was very helpful from ordering product right on through to delivery. Recieved package sooner than promised which was a pleasant bonus.No modification was needed

Not the best quality. Keys stick in in lock cylinders and everything is just a little loose, including the pull handle. But it works.
I needed a new door latch for my 1999 Exiss 300SS horse trailer and Exiss no longer made parts, found this one and it worked perfectly!!
The Bauer door lock latch and plate went in like a glove. Very easy to install and heavy duty.
We chose this rv door lock because it was the only one that fits properly. You must first measure before ordering.
It’s easy to remove 4 screws to measure your opening and then order another door lock that will fit. We especially like that ours has the access keys alike for simplicity.

Glad to hear it fit, Kris! I would say it would be nice if everyone measured things before just buying things all willy-nilly, but then some of us might be out of a job! : P What did you get this Bauer door lock for? Couldn't tell what you have from your picture.
The key is stuck in the lock and can’t get it out. I would like to review door window art number 363369 it is a snap together style. It comes snapped together so you have to take it a part to put in one of the little plastic locking clips broke off taking it a part.
My old door lock was old and very tough to use. Even the latch handle was cracking. Had done various repairs with no discernible improvement. Ordered this Bauer replacement and am so glad. It installed super easy and works so smoothly. Also, with both the latch and deadbolt keyed alike, it couldn’t be easier to unlock. Very happy

This lock requires the cut out to be 5.25 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. We do have a lock that is smaller. It is part # BA54FR. The cut out dimensions for this lock are 2.75 inches wide by 3.75 inches tall.
