Question:
I’m looking for a door latch for my motor home. I bought one but the 2 pins are too big to fit into the latch on my motor home and that can’t be changed. Can you let me know the diameter of the 2 pins above and below the latch. I don’t know if these are the correct names for the parts, I’ll try to attach a picture. Bauer part 402-112-000

The Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock 402-112-000 # BA64FR has 1/4" diameter pins with 1/2" diameter on the ends of the pins. If this was not the pin size you needed please let me know as I did not see any pictures attached.

Hi Bud, 1/4” diameter pins should work. The original pins were 7mm and 1/4” is 6.35 mm. I tried one that was 9mm which was too big. Thank you very much for your quick response and mailing the part. Tom
