Much nicer than the original flimsy wire.
Wish they had used an aluminum carabiner to save weight (hangs low enough that it might drag), and to avoid the rust that eventually will happen.

A little too short for use on my 5th wheel hitch. I have yet to try it.

Coiled cord when extended is a little shorter than I thought it would be. However, overall happy with the product. Definitely a neater solution than dragging the wire rope all over that I had before.

This coiled cable is so much easier to use than the wire our emergency brake switch came with. No tangles and so slipping around the safety chains
The product is as expected, but the service from etrailer was not so good. Need improvement in shipping
Replaced the standard cable with this one. Really like that it has a carabiner instead of a simple loop, doesn't dangle close to the road, and has a high visibility protective coating.
It's much less likely that I would forget to disconnect it, which is why I needed to replace the original in the first place!

Excellent product, I was worried about it fitting but it was a perfect match to my brake module. My second time getting this, the first one is going on 3 years with no issues.

The Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable was exactly what I needed to replace the standard breakaway cable which started to become worn. This cable should stay completely out of the way for as long as I own this trailer.
Very simple item all trailers should have - complements safety cables like C80176 - Replaced both the original safety chains and breakaway cables on two new trailers. The convenience is well worth it.........
I cannot yet figure out how to remove the plunger pin from the old ASCO breakaway switch to allow this one to be inserted. I will likely be returning it.
Pin fits my Curt brake away system.
I didn't work as expected. It was the wrong type to fit into my breakaway switch. I wish they were of a standard type.
I will be using it in the future with a compatible switch on another trailer.

This item is compatible with most but not all breakaway systems.

Never used it. It may be used some day.
Great product at a fair price. Etrailer is my “go to” for all of my towing needs.
Direct replacement for a damaged part.
It didnt plug directly into either break-away I have. One is a Hopkins Engager. The other is a Teekonsha. Nothing that wasn’t easily fixed with a strong key ring.
Haven’t used yet but delivery came thro ugh!
