Will this Plowser plow work on my 2021 Toyota RAV4 with a rear 2inch hitch, or do I really need a truck?

Michelle, you definitely don’t need a truck for the Plowser snow plow # PL53YR. As long as your RAV4 has a 2 inch hitch receiver and the receiver height falls between 11 inches and 19 inches from the ground, you’re good to go. The Plowser is designed specifically for personal vehicles like SUVs, crossovers, and even cars - not just pickups. Since it mounts in the hitch and moves with your vehicle, there’s no wiring, hydraulics, or extra hardware to deal with.

Do you plan to plow straight down the driveway in one direction, or make a few shorter passes ? Happy to talk through technique if you want. Plowser does recommend just plowing in a straight path since it's not designed to be angled and dumped to the side.

I’m looking at this for a CR-V with a rear hitch and had the same question as Michelle. Glad to see it’s not just for trucks.

@Kierra Hey there! As long as the hitch height falls in that 11"–19" range and you keep your passes slow and straight, it works really well for residential snow. If you want to share your model year or driveway layout, I’m happy to double-check things.
