TDR1500DS does this come in a 3000 bumperstop ?

Hi David; the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DS is not available with a lower capacity. All of the Timbren SES bump stops come with a high capacity like these. If 1,500 lbs is enough the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-307-47 are another option. These won't give you a harsh ride like the Timbren can.

The other option is to get the Timbren and then send them off to them to "soften them up" if you think they're too harsh. They are willing to adjust a pair of bump stops as part of their satisfaction guarantee if you aren't happy with them.

Are you adding these for extra support while towing?

Yes for towing an 19 ft aluminum boat plus going thru mountains. Most of the time the bed will be mostly empty except when picking up supplies and building materials. It’s the going to town and long trips with family truck.

@DavidM then I would really consider the SumoSprings if they're enough for your needs. You could also run air bags like # AL57375 which you can keep at the 5 psi minimum when you aren't towing or hauling so they have no impact on unloaded ride quality.

@DavidM we tow a 36ft camper and this was a huge help for stability. I keep the back pretty loaded when not towing as we travel and it’s basically my storage shed. Only time I notice them is when I hit a speed bump or something similar to make a large bounce with the rear end.

@DavidM I pulled a 29.5 Bumper Pull RV and they worked perfect for me. I actually got rid of the 2025 1500 due to issues I had with it and went back to a 2500 and ordered these for it as well. A little rough when pulling my boat but perfect for the RV. Empty I don't even know they are there.

I added the 6000lb timbrens to my 2021 ram Laramie. Didn’t really affect the ride much for me empty. Maybe a slight bit stiffer over big bumps but with my 6500lb travel trailer and gear it definitely made the load more stable. With those and load range E tires it was a good combo for heavier towing with a 1/2 ton truck.
