Hey Jess, welcome back. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDR1500DS is the correct set for your 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel, however I don't recommend them at all. These are the lowest capacity option we have and they're rated for 6,000 lbs of tongue weight. Your truck's tongue weight capacity is only 1,100 lbs and the payload capacity isn't much higher. The Timbren item # TDR1500DS are going to really stiffen up your rear suspension and you'll feel every single bump.

Instead, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs item # SSR-307-47. These install in the same location by removing your factory bump stop and provide a more reasonable 1,500 lbs of load support. These are progressive rate springs that only engage when weight is placed on them. The more weight on your rear end the more they engage. If you're driving around with an empty bed or no trailer you won't even notice them.

Do you tow a trailer or haul a bunch of stuff in your bed? What has you needing additional support in your rear suspension?

You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

They worked just as you said, kept truck level towing, and you don't notice them when not towing. Installation was easy enough.

I installed the Sumo springs on my 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn about a year ago and love them. I have a travel trailer and a boat I pull with this vehicle and they work great. I have a good bit of tongue weight in my camper so my “tail” doesn’t wag and they eliminated most of the sag in the suspension when trailering. This vehicle is my daily driver and under normal driving conditions you can’t tell they are even installed. Only drawback is when you are pulling a heavy load every pot hole you hit you feel in the cab, particularly the people in the rear seat.

These springs worked great, leveled my Ram 1500 towing a 32 ft 5th wheel Little stiffer ride without trailer , but barrable. Would recommend them.

I pull a fish house in winter and my boat in summer and my truck sags dodge has poor rear suspension. I figured these would help with it sagging so much with a load on. Thanks Jess

I added the SumoSprings to my 2021 Ram 1500 instead of air springs. I pull a 30-foot-long toy hauler , the SumoSprings held my truck level for a more comfortable and safer ride.
