Ordered the other model for the Ram. The lighter duty one. TDR1500 DQ. Will this work with the 392 rear end as well?

In a word, no, the warranty of your 2020 Ram 1500 will not be voided with the use of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDRTT1500 or # TDR1500DQ.

You are protected by what is called the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This act says if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever you have added to your vehicle or its installation actually caused the problem in question.

By 392 rear end, I believe you are referring to a 3.92 axle ratio for your 2020 Ram 1500. And the answer is yes, it is compatible and will work with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DQ.
