Does Nissan Xterra Need Weight Distribution When Towing Intech Flyer Explore

I have a nisssan x terra se 4wd. Auto I am going to tow an intech flyer explore would it be necessary to get a wdh hitch I only towed it once the way it is

Hey Jeff, I looked up the weight of an Intech Flyer Explore relative to the towing capacity of your 2009 Nissan Xterra and you'd be right at where I would start to strongly recommend a weight distribution system. I won't lie to you and tell you its something you have to have or anything like that but it will do a great job reducing rear suspension sag, improve braking, and also handling so it's a worthwhile investment for sure.

For that a simple system like the Curt # C95MJ would be a great choice that will work great and also not break the bank. How often do you think you'll be towing it?

@Jeff Right on! They aren't too bad to get used to. Backing the trailer up will be something to get used to but be sure to disconnect the spring bars before you get the trailer jacknifed too tight as that will damage the bars.
