Will I Have Clearance Issues with the GooseTech Pin Box

Question:
Installing the goosetech on a Rhino box and pulling with a 2024 F350 Short bed. The bed is 21inch tall, the goosetech is 21.47inch tall. How do you get a 7-8inch clearance?

Hey Russ, thanks for reaching out!
There won't be an issue with clearance over your bed rails. The GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR84MV is designed to replace the Lippert Rhino and provide the 5–6" of safe towing clearance you need.
I confirmed with MORryde that the pin box height is 22.818", and the coupler sits another 1–2" above the bed when installed. Plus, the mounting brackets leave a couple more inches of space between the pin box and your trailer.

Hey Russ, how did the clearance turn out after fitting the GooseTech pin box on your Rhino setup? It’d be great to know if you were able to get the space you needed over the F350’s bed rails. Your update could make it easier for others working with similar short-bed trucks.
