What Is The Max PSI Rating for a Lionshead Jaguar Wheel?

Question:

Good afternoon Max rim pressure on Jaguar rims ? 16x6, 5 -5.5. Tires I have are 110 psi cold. Vehicle they are on , 2016 Grand Design reflection 337rls. I contacted Grand Design , no help. Thank you for your help.

Hey John, welcome back and thanks for all the information! The Lionshead wheels like the Aluminum Liger item # LH98VR you were looking at, don't have a max PSI rating but the valve stems that typically come with them item # AM20904 top out at 80 psi.

I recommend checking your valve stems and if necessary replacing them with the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem item # AM20906. These are rated for over 200 PSI so they will work with your 110 PSI tires.

jerred Thanks for the response. will the am20906 fit my wheels. Has anyone installed these on my style of wheels? The counter bored hole on my wheels look to small for the washer of the am20906. Thanks again.

@JohnM You're welcome! Yes, it will. The Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem item # AM20906 fits 453" and 0.625" rim holes. 16" Jaguar wheels typically have a 0.625" valve stem hole.
