Question:

Hi I am trying to figure out how to exchange my converter on a truck camper so that I can use a lithium battery. My converter section of the panel has a part number 081-55RU-000 AND is a model 55SR. Do you have something that will work? Thanks

Hey Mark, welcome back. To replace your 081-55RU-000 converter to make your power center compatible with lithium batteries, you'll want the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel item # PD4655V. This is also a 55 amp converter section. It is a bit larger though at 13-1/4" long x 8" deep x 5-3/8" wide so you may have to expand your cabinet to accommodate it.

The whole component is a Parallax Power Components L.L.C. 6300 Q Series

@MarkJ Ok, thank you! That's what I was coming up with too. The Progressive Dynamics item # PD4655V is the only replacement option available for the Parallax Q Series.

@Mark Yes, the Progressive Dynamics item # PD4655V replaces the Parallax/Magnetek model 6355 which is part of the 6300 series like your Parallax Power Components L.L.C. 6300 Q Series. The only other option is to replace your entire power center with the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel item # PD4060K.
