Recommended Hitch and Installation Concerns for a 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid

Hi, have you installed this hitch on a 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid yet. I just received the hitch and have watched your installation video on a 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid. However, before I attempt the installation myself, It would be very helpful to know if there are any differences when installing on a 2026. Thanks!

Hey Chris, thanks for buying from etrailer and congrats on the new SUV! We have not installed the etrailer item # e98848, or any hitch for that matter, on the new 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid. I looked up the changes that were made from the 2025 model year and they were all cosmetic and unrelated to the structural part and trim pieces around the hitch area.
Installing the etrailer item # e98848 on your 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid is going to be the same process as the 2025 install. If it helps to reassure you, I also checked with Honda and they didn't change their OEM hitch either. They just carried it over to the new model year.
