Why Won't Blue Ox BX3780 Fit 2008 Yaris Sedan S

Wanting to know why they say blue ox bx 3780 want fit Yaris sedan s? Front end looks the same as standard Yaris as far as grill size and opening. In need of baseplate for 2008 Yaris sedan s , looking at the demco but like the blue ox 3780 if it will fit, I believe it will. Contacted blue ox but haven’t heard back from them. Thanks for your time

Hi Craig; when I reached out to Blue Ox they said the trim and frame doesn't allow their # BX3780 to fit on the S. I have my doubts about the frame difference but it is pretty standard for the trim to be the issue. More than likely if you tried to install it you would have to cut up the front fascia in a way that would look terrible.
Sticking with the Demco # DM9517213 is your best option. I'm assuming you're using a Blue Ox tow bar so you will also need the Blue Ox Tow Bar Adapter Brackets for Demco Classic Base Plates # DM9523034.

Thanks, probably will go with the demco. Have everything else. Still think bx3780 will work. Thanks will probably order the more expensive demco soon!
