2025 Toyota Tundra Platinum Squats 2 Inches When Pulling 8,000 Pound Travel Trailer - Suspension Mod
Published 12/09/2025 >
Question:
We tow an 8,000 lb travel trailer with our 2025 Tundra Platinum, and the rear squats about 2 inches. Will the Firestone kit level it out while keeping a smooth ride? Or should I do something else. thank you

Good morning Andrea! Yes, this is exactly what the Firestone air suspension upgrade # F59XV was built for. The Ride-Rite bags give you up to 5,000 lbs of leveling support, and because it’s a single-path system, both bags inflate evenly so you don't need to worry about trying to level them individually.
Most trucks in your weight range end up around 25–45 PSI depending on cargo, but it varies. And since the system is wireless, you can stand right at the hitch and adjust the pressure from your phone until the truck levels out. The kit comes with everything you'll need!
Do you know your trailer’s actual tongue weight?
