Should I Run the Spacer with the Timbren for 2025 Toyota Tundra
Updated 12/29/2025 | Published 12/08/2025 >
Question:
The Timbren SES kit I purchased for my stock 2025 Tundra 4X4 Limited ITEM T45MR came with the bracket, the rubber bumpstock, and an ~3/4inch spacer. It is not clear from the instructions if the spacer is required or recommended. Is this required? Thanks!

Hey David, I would test fit everything and see which orientation works best. With the spacer or without. Ideally when the kit is installed there will be 1 inch of space between the Timbren and the frame so whichever orientation gets closest to that would be what you'd want to go with. If you do run the spacer and you find that the ride quality is rough you can always remove it to improve the ride quality.

Hey David, how did your test fit go with the Timbren kit on your Tundra? Did you end up keeping the spacer in place or leaving it out for the best ride quality? Your results could really help others setting up the same kit.
