Can Weight Distribution Hitch Be Used With Cruisemaster DO35

Question:
Hello. Im buying a 15 3500gvwr trailer and am curious about weight distribution / sway bar for towing with my 23 4Runner. The trailer will have a Cruisemaster DO35 articulating hitch which seems to add a wrinkle to the process. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

According to Cruisemaster, the DO35 can be used with load distribution hitches (WDH) providing the coupling movement is not obstructed and the maximum downward load of 350kg is not exceeded. Looking at their instructions you will have to get an adapter that is designed for a Hayman Reese Classic weight distribution hitch which comes from Australia. If you wanted to use a different brand like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37041ET you looked at you will have to reach out to Cruisemaster to see it is possible.
