26 Newmar Essex with the airline in bumper from factory. Do I need to add a drum to hold air for the air force one brake system?

No, you do not Geordie and congrats on the new motorhome. The 2026 Newmar Essex is built on either a Spartan K2 or a Freightliner chassis. Yours has the flat towing prep package so all you'll need to do is connect the included air line to that fitting. You'll need one of the following kits listed below:
Spartan K2 Chassis - Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for 2019 and Newer Spartan K2 400 RVs w/ Safe Haul item # DM54YV
Freightliner Chassis - Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for 2021 and Newer Freightliner Chassis RVs w/ BrakeSync item # DM23MV
What vehicle are you setting up to flat tow? If you could give me the year, make, model, and any special trim package, where it says Reply to Jerred H, I'll be happy to make some recommendations on the parts you'll be needing.
