Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the center of the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Plugged right in and works great
Got it in quickly, but did not put it in yet...
The installation of the wiring harness went great! On the Blazer EV Chevrolet has made it very easy. Remove the dust cap and plug the new wiring harness into it! It really is Plug-an-Play! The installation took about 15 minutes.
Easy plug and play installation. The RS model of the Equinox EV comes pre wired for trailer hook up.
Excellent fit into factory coupler; high-quality insulation and mouldings.
The unit is fine and works great. Now finding the connector was challenging - the EV version has a backup sound generator - and it was "hiding" the connector :-)
Connects to car but doesn't work can't seem to find out why. Dealers can't help me and car is to New to find out why with wiring schematics not available to me yet. Completely missing power for trailer system, no power at fuses. So waiting for more information to come out.

You sent me a wiring harness clearly stated on the package for a 2024 Blazer EV-Cadillac XT4 or Cadillac Lyrig and not a 2025 Chevy Equinox. I need this right off so please get the correct one in the mail ASAP and send me a return label for this MISTAKE !!!!

Had to rearrange the wires on 2026 equinox rs as mentioned in video works great.
I found this difficult to install as the connection to the vehicle is hard to figure out and their are minimal or no instructions as to how to do it.
Worked perfect. Had to switch wires to work on my 2026 Equinox. Easy installation.
Works ok as per video to adjust wires to car wires to standard trailer wires setup.
Good directions -especially the video on youtube. Quick shipping and good price. Love how low profile this hitch is. The simpler option to install with now “towing capacity” exceeds this vehicles tow rating so I wouldn’t advise. Much quicker with a helping hand but can be done alone - the under body mounted options are almost impossible alone.

Worked perfectly on my 2024 Blazer EV even though the car did not have the factory towing package. The forums seem to be correct that they all have the wiring onboard. If your connector has a cover, watch the video for how to release it. Super easy if you know how; Impossible if you don't. Plug and play. No hardwired kit necessary.
I bought a hitch for my equinox it was a perfect fit it only took 3hours to mount it to the vehicle very freindly people when I ordered the hitch would recommend to my friends great price also
Found the factory plug as video showed(not in paper directions) plugged in and secured with wire ties. Will not know if wired correctly until I need to rent a trailer.
Ordered this for 2026 gmc terrain elevation. Base model. Had the plug in under rear bumper but didnt work the trailer lights until going to dealership to program it around 80$ and now works great. Very happy with it.
While this pigtail harness DID NOT work when plugged into my 2026 Equinox LT AWD your service was good.
The harness pins were completely reversed from what I call “standard color wire coding” for a flat four trailer wire harness. I don’t believe it’s yours or Curt’s fault. I believe it’s a mfg fowl up at GM.
Now to see about returns.
Hitch and harness work great. install relatively easy but none of the installation videos or manuals acknowledge that bottom cover that is removed for the install has to be significantly modified to fit back in above the hitch. The plastic cover has a stiffening bump in the center that must be flattened by cutting away the perimeter edges around the bump. I taped the edges with aluminum tape to reclose. This may not be satisfactory or possible for some DIY’ers. This is far more modification than the 2 slots that are cut into the part in the installation video and manual.
I had to modify the wires due to not having the factory towing package on my 2026 Equinox. I watched the video to give me an idea of how to test and splice the wires in the harness to have the correct signals going to the trailer end of the harness.

Hey Randy, If the towing package is present but the trailer connector lacks power, a Chevrolet dealer may need to program the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM) to activate the trailer wiring circuits. This process typically involves a fee, which has been reported to be around $90. I know that is not what you wanted to hear but at least it points you in the right direction.
