Im trying to connect LED trailer lights to my 2024 Bronco Sport 4 way flat pin. The lights work fine, but I constantly get an annoying message Trailer Park Lamps Fault Check Lamps message when the headlight are on and I use the brakes. I am told by Ford that the LEDs resistance is too low and that I need higher resistance lights incandescent. Any suggestions?

Hey Mike, this is a pretty common issue with newer vehicles and LED trailer taillights unfortunately but there are ways to fix it. You can swap the trailer lights to incandescent like you mentioned or you can add load resistors like the part # ARC22VR on the trailer's wiring for the running light circuit and that will simulate the load.
