Will Stealth Hitch SH55VR For 2026 BMW X1 Be A No-Drill Install?

Question:
Plan for stealth hitch 2026 BMW X1 xDrive28i. Please confirm no drilling into frame and only cutting a piece around heat shield. Please confirm will not affect backup sensors, Do you locate trained installers in our area?

Hello Martin, thanks for reaching out. The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH55VR is the correct fit for the 2026 BMW X1 xDrive28i. It comes with the hitch, rack receiver, ball mount and wiring harness.
You will not need to drill into the frame during installation. You will need to trim the heat shield, and a section of the bumper fascia. It will not interfere with any of the rear mounted sensors.
