Hello Frank,
Great question, and to be honest, it took me a minute to figure it out too.
Both options will work perfectly for your 2019 Toyota Tacoma, as they each include the correct vehicle-specific pigtail for a very simple install.
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness - Dash Knob - Up to 2 Axles - Proportional # RED72CR includes 3 different mounting panels for the factory knockouts on your dash, making installation even easier. The # RED68CR does not come with these mounting panels, so it will require drilling a hole in your dash for the knob installation.
I attached an image with a rectangle around the mounting panels that come with the # RED72CR. The Redarc is a fantastic brake controller, you won’t be disappointed!
What are you looking to tow with your Tacoma?
