Parts for Trailer

Question:
Hi. I bought a trailer it has no paperwork and I need parts but don’t know how to identify what’s right on the site. Any idea how I could do that? Its surge drum brakes with lowering spindles and 14 inch wheels. Obviously any size wheel would fit. I don’t know the bolt pattern. Thank you.

Hi Nick, what replacement parts are you looking for? If it is something like brakes and hubs we can identify them using the axle tag if it is still on your axle. If you don't have an axle tag you can either pull the existing hubs and check for part numbers or measure the spindle/bearings to identify what you have. I also attached an article below which explains how to measure your bolt pattern.

Hi Nick, did you have a chance to check the axle tag or measure the spindle and bearings to identify the parts you need? I'm asking because your experience could really help others who are trying to figure out the right parts for their trailers.
