Where Should Coil-Rite Air Valve be Installed on a 2019 VW Atlas?

Question:

I purchased F4175 for my 2019 VW Atlas. Not finding any videos for install help for the Atlas, and the install instructions are a bit vague. My question is, what / where are the 2 support discs intended to be used? They are not mentioned at all in the install instructions. Also, I assume the air bag is installed with the air valve at the bottom? Thanks

Hey David!

The supports that come with the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4175 aren't going to be used for your 2019 Volkswagen Atlas.

This kit fits a handful of vehicles, so the instructions say to put the air valve at either the top or bottom depending on what will be best to keep the air valve from getting damaged.

Hey David, Did the information about the supports and air valve placement help with your installation? I'm asking because it could give others confidence when setting up their Firestone Coil-Rite Air Springs on similar vehicles.

Well Jon, unfortunately I haven't been able to get the coil-rite air springs installed yet. I guess I'm going to have to hire somebody to install them. Honestly they are very difficult to install on the Atlas for an old fart like me David
