How to Remove the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack

Question:
I am having trouble removing this bike rack from my car. It will not slide out with any force even with my husband helping pull it out. Ive been adding WD-40 and it still is stuck. Am I missing something?

Hey Petra. Did you loosen the bolt on the back of the shank for the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack item # KU24FR? There's an 8-mm Allen bolt that tightens an anti-rattle wedge to keep the bike rack from wobbling inside the hitch. I've attached a couple of pictures below to show you what I am talking about.
