How Do I Get Part of a Broken Key Out of a Tongue Lock

I got a new reese tongue lock, not the economy model. Both keys apparently made out of aluminum can mateial sheared right off. Now lock is stuck on trailer. I need resolution

Hey, Trevor.
I'm sorry to hear that happened. The only Reese lock we carry right now is part # RP7014700, I'm not sure if that is the lock that you got. However, if part of the key is stuck inside the lock, you may need to contact a locksmith, especially if you’d prefer not to cut the lock off. Reese used to offer replacement keys at one time, but unfortunately, they no longer do.
A locksmith might be able to remove the broken key and even make a new one. If that’s not an option, the only solution I can offer would be to cut the lock off and replace it with a new one. I'd recommend getting a lock that has a barrel key, like this Fastway lock part # FA86-0015-308.
I know that’s not the best news.
