Landing Gear Recommendation for 2020 Rockwood 2781WS

Question:

I have a Rockwood 5th wheel model 2781WS year 2020. I want to move to a better jack system in the front. I have a whimpy electric one that has failed on one side. What do you have to replace it.

Hey John, I would recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear set part # LG-4 which is a powered set like you have now but it has our highest weight rating at 6,500 lb so it would definitely not be wimpy like what you have now. What brand landing gear do you have now?

I do not know what I currently have. All painted black and no labels. I have 11.5" between the brackets and They are mounted outside to the left and right of the legs. Sounds like the LG-4 is not a bolt on solution.

@JohnB Yeah it doesn't seem like it would bolt right up but we don't have anything that would bolt right up to the bracket dimensions you have so you'd have to move them regardless.
