how do you measure length of leg? 29inch or 33. I want to replace with single drive electric system

The overall dimension you are measuring is the length of the outer tube of the jack. If you check out the first picture I attached you'll see where the part # LG-1 measures 29-1/2 inches in length.
The second picture I attached shows the dimensions that are relevant for mounting the jack to your trailer.
