Is There a Weight Distribution System with Solid 2.5" Shank

Question:

Do you sell any Weight Distribution Hitches that fit a 2.5inch hitch without the need for a 2.5inch to 2inch adapter sleeve?

Yes, we do have weight distribution system options which come equipped with a solid, one-piece 2-1/2" shank. There are not many options but of them, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ64FR which is for trailers from 12-16K. It can be used with slightly lighter trailer as well. I have attached a full list of options below if this will not work.

Thanks for the answer above. I just ordered the EQ64FR, and my trailer GVWR is 9,000 lbs. Will that trailer be too light for the EQ64FR?

@Greg The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 16,000 lbs GTW, 1,600 lbs TW Part Number: EQ64FR has a tongue weight range of 1,400lbs to 1,600lbs and the typical formula for tongue weight is 10-15% of your GVWR so you'll be just below its range at 900lbs to 1,350lbs. Realistically you'd want to measure the tongue weight of your trailer while fully loaded to get an exact number and then choose your weight distribution hitch. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-1200 would be a better option since it has an 800lb to 1,200lb tongue weight range. It includes a 2" shank but doesn't include a hitch ball so you'll need a hitch ball # C40030 (2-5/16"). If you need a 2-1/2" shank instead then you can go with the # EQ90-02-4900.
