Question:
Hi I have a question about the Velit 3000r bigger ac unit. Can I run the 3000R overnight on battery power alone? looking at a 48v lithium battery pack.

Ellen, depending on your battery bank capacity, you may be able to run the Velit 12K BTU RV AC # VE29QV overnight. For example, in Eco mode 300–400 watts, a 200ah 48V lithium system would give you a solid night of cooling and then some, close to 20 hours total! In Boost mode 900–1200 watts, you’ll drain faster and get around 8 hours of cooling. Many folks use Eco overnight, then Boost during the hottest parts of the evening.
What’s your battery setup? If not 200ah, let me know and I can run some numbers for you.
Other campers - how’s your runtime been with off-grid battery and ac setups?
