My DeeMaxx was a great direct replacement for the original Dexter rotor. Thanks for the help in choosing it E Trailer.
Way up in Kenai Alaska we do not have parts in a store shelf.

by:

Tristan did a great job getting my order together and shipped! Everything was correct when it arrived.

Love to hear that, Darryl! Have you tacked installing the brakes yet?

by:

I’ve operated my boat trailer without any subsequent issues for a year. Thank you for providing a single source for all the needed parts to replace the component on my torsion axle trailer.

by:

Fits and works perfectly

by:

The product is of high quality and the bearing cups were already installed. The support staff Kim R. and Ashley are excellent to work with and the same can be said of their company. When a hub was lost in transit another hub was shipped immediately when the required wait time expired. This company has very high customer core values and I would highly recommend them for trailer parts.

by:

Very good quality, was in perfect condition on arrival, performs as the OEM hub did.

by:

as described, easy to assemble, super-fast shipping

  • What Type of Trailer Brake is Available for 2,200 lb Axle
Hey Kerry, so a 3,500 lb axle like what the DeeMaxx kit part # DE49VR is designed to fit and a 2,200 lb axle use totally different spindles so the DE49VR would not fit your axle. For your 2,200 lb axle we only have drum style brakes like with the hub/drum part # T1662600CB042 and the brake assemblies # 23-47-48.

  • Replacement Hub and Rotor Assembly for 2023 Shoreland'r Boat Trailer with 3,000 lb Weight Rating
Your Shoreland'r trailer uses a 10" disc brake assembly so to replace that I recommend this part from DeeMaxx along with the #84 spindle bearing kit: - DeeMaxx 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # DE49VR - Hub Bearing Kit for 3,500 lb Axle with #84 Spindle # BK2-100 The DeeMaxx hub and rotor kit is a great solution for boat trailers as the Maxx coating has a salt-spray rating of over 1,000 hours which is over twice as much as the Kodiak alternative, part # KHR10D, that I'm pretty sure came...

  • Is there an Interchangeable Hub for Mine that Had DB-42 Stamped on it? 3,500 Pound Axle.
Hello Mike, Disc brakes are brand specific when it comes to parts, if you try to mix the parts the will NOT line up. What I am showing is that the DB-42 is an older UFP set-up that uses the standard 3,500 pound axle bearings Inner bearing: L68149 and Outer bearing: L44649. Since there is no longer a hub/rotor for the DB-42 you will need to get a whole new system. The DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit - 10" Hub/Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Maxx Coating - 3,500 lbs # DE66YR would be a great kit, the bearings,...

  • Recommended Hub W/ Integrated Drums for a BT8 Spindle
Charles, it looks like none of our hubs with integrated rotors are going to work with your BT8 Spindle # TRU59FR. We do have the DeeMaxx 10" Hub/Rotor Assembly # DE49VR which will work with 3.5K axles and has a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern, but nothing for your BT8 spindle. We do also have hubs with integrated drums like the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 2K Axles # AKHD-545-2-EZ-1K which will work with your BT8 spindle.

  • Are The DeeMaxx Hub/Rotor Assemblies Compatible With Kodiak 225 Calipers?
The DeeMaxx 10" Hub/Rotor Assembly # DE49VR is only compatible with the DeeMaxx brand calipers like part # DE86VR. If you have Kodiak 225 calipers you will need a Kodiak brand rotor as well, such as part # KHR10D.

  • Can Larger 3,500 lb Brake Rotor Be Used As Replacement On Trailer
Although both of those fall under a 10" hub and rotor assembly, it sounds like you do not have DeeMaxx on there right now. In general the disc brake parts cannot be interchanged. The # DE49VR you got has a 10-3/16" diameter, Kodiak # KHR10D sits at 10", and then there is Dexter # K08-435-05 which matches your 9-3/4" measurement. Seems like you have Dexter on there right now so you would want to stick with Dexter replacement parts assuming that is correct. The other option would be to swap...

  • Why Are There Holes in the DeeMaxx 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly
The holes in the DeeMaxx 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # DE49VR are designed to avoid water pooling into that part of the assembly. I wouldn't say that pooling what is a massive issue, but just the fact that DeeMaxx built this in and is making a subtle change to help maximize the life of their kit goes to show the thought and care that went into the design of their products.

  • Does Coating Need To Be Removed From Rotor Before Use
Hi Russ; the DeeMaxx 10" Hub/Rotor Assembly # DE49VR is ready to go as is. You do not need to remove any of the coating since the brake pads will do that work for you. This also ensures that the minimal amount is removed and exposed to help prevent corrosion.
