Looking For A Good Hitch And Wiring Recommendation For My 2020 Chevy Traverse

Hello, I have a 2020 chevy traverse. can you tell me what hitch and wiring harness to purchase? I am not hauling heavy loads. have a 5x8 trailer and hauling a mower. thanks.

Hey Dennis,
For your 2020 Chevy Traverse we have some great options for you. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch # CU29FR. The funny thing about the Traverse is all the hitch options have the same capacity of 5,000lbs towing, and 750lbs tongue weight. More than what you need but it gives you the ability to tow more if you ever wanted to in the future. Install wise it is a bolt on hitch with no drilling required, I attached an install video we have on that exact vehicle for you to take a look at.
For wiring I recommend the Curt # C56394. This is a simple plug and play 4 flat wiring harness. Since you have a smaller trailer it likely utilizes the 4 flat connection already and this installation is simple. I attached a video of that for you as well so you know what you are getting into lol.
I have a Traverse in my family and we used both of those on ours. Tows great and was able to get it installed on a Saturday! Let me know what you think of those options. Do you have a lawn business?
