Will the etrailer D-Shape Anti-Rattle Locking Hitch Pin Work with a Yakima Bike Rack?

Question:
will this work with yakima bike rack with 2 inch receiver? my hitch pin has a locking mechanism but the unit rattles in the receiver. will this work like the swagman hitch lock system?

Hey Duain!
The etrailer D-Shape Anti-Rattle Locking Hitch Pin # e43JR works with a 2" receiver, but is designed for the Benton line of bike racks. Your Yakima bike rack has a unique pin so this won't be cross-compatible.
When you install your bike rack do you shift it around in the receiver some while you're tightening of the anti-rattle pin? If you don't do that, the anti-rattle device won't be able to be snugged down as much and might be the reason you're getting that rattling still.

Hey Duain, Did you have a chance to try shifting your Yakima bike rack around in the receiver while tightening the anti-rattle pin? I'm asking because it might help reduce the rattling and could be useful for others facing a similar issue.
