Will this system activate my toad’s brake lights or tail lights while towing?

Yes, Nina, it will, but only when braking is actually applied. The Shadow 2 # RVi94FR physically pulls on the brake pedal in your towed vehicle, so it triggers the OEM brake light switch just like pressing the pedal would.

During a breakaway situation, it also activates the brakes and the lights. Just be sure to follow the install instructions carefully when attaching the braided steel cable and clamp to the brake arm, that’s what ensures correct actuation.

Were you also wondering if it runs the running lights and turn signals of the toad? If so, that is actually controlled by the flat tow wiring harness that gets signal from your motorhome. If you need this, let me know which vehicle you have and I can find something. :)
