The base plate bolts directly onto factory mounting points using the supplied hardware, so there’s no need for fabrication or welding. It’s built for straightforward alignment that keeps the process clean and predictable while making sure everything sits exactly where it should once tightened down.
Already have a tow bar? This base plate connects directly to Blue Ox tow bars and can be used with other brands through adapters sold separately. For Roadmaster systems, use adapter RM-031 or RM-031-5. For Demco setups, use adapter DM9523041. That flexibility means you can keep your current gear while upgrading to a reliable foundation up front.
With a distance between brackets of 35-5/8" and a bracket height of 19", you can plan your full flat towing setup with precision. Knowing those measurements helps line up your tow bar and accessories exactly how you want them before hitting the road.
