Is there an Adapter to Connect a Fixed Brake Line to a Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator?

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/03/2025

Question:

I am trying to replace my Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator and I have a flexible Hydraulic Brake Line that I am having a very difficult time attaching because there is a fixed fitting at the end, where it screws into the brass fitting on the actuator. Do they make a union or something for the Hydraulic Brake Lines, since they dont have a free spinning fitting at the end?

No, I am sorry Carey they do not make an adapter for an actuator like the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 item # DX56FR that spins. You'll have to remove your brake line, install it on the actuator, and then reconnect your brake line to get it connected.

How long is that brake line? If you want to replace that brake line with a fitting that spins, I would just need to know how long it is.

Hey Carey, did you manage to remove and reconnect the brake line as suggested? If you're still having trouble, I'm here to help you out.
