Question:

I’m looking for a replacement bracket for the diamond plate 17” aluminum Brophy steps but see that the replacement says for 18” steps. I spoke with Brophy and they said they do not make 17” steps. Are your steps just incorrectly labeled? Does the 18” replacement bracket fit what you are calling 4 steps 17” aluminum stairs?

Hello Todd,

When we measure the actual step of the # AS05 it is 17", but you will need the Replacement Scissor Step Bracket for 18" Steps # CR2001. I attached an image of the actual measurements of the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS05.

I just put in for us to update one of the pages as it is very confusing and misleading.

What kind of camper is this going on? Any fun adventures in the near future?

Did you mean AS04? And they are going on a 2003 SunLite Eagle SB as long as they work with the CR 2001 replacement bracket. ????

@Todd Yes, it will work on the # AS04 as well, the only difference between the # AS05 and the # AS04 is the extra step on the # AS05. The # CR2001 will work for both.
