Recommended 2nd AC Unit for a 2023 Keystone Premier 26R

Question:
I have a 2023 Keystone Premier 26RB with one GE AC in the living room. It is pre-wired for a 2nd AC in the bedroom. I'm looking at the Furrion ChillCube and not sure if I need a districtuion box or not. What is the distribution box for? Also, I don't want a wall thermostat, just use the remote. Can you please advise? Thank you.

Hey Chris. When you install an AC system like the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR27TD you are definitely going to need an air distribution box. The internal components are what controls the actual AC unit that sits on top of your RV.
The Furrion item # FR27TD is a ductless system that has built in controls on the air box. It includes a remote that will control all functions of the AC system. It does not have a thermostat.
We also have the same set up available in white item # FR59TD.
Just confirming! You are interested in a ductless system right?
