Question:
Hello I have been a long time customer of e trailer. We have a 2024 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4wd no air suspension. We do not tow with this vehicle, but I’m looking to enhance the ride. When riding in the 3rd row it’s so bumpy I can’t stand it. Im wondering if the Firestone airbags maybe with 5-10lbs of air would help smooth the ride considering 3rd row is over rear axle? Please let me know your thoughts. Best regards

Hey Matt, welcome back! The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F4124 won't address any of the issues you're having with bumps. They're designed to keep the suspension from flexing when towing or hauling a heavy load with your 2024 Toyota Sequioa
Instead, I recommend the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs item # SS88FJ. These work independently and are great on bumpy uneven terrain. They soften the landing of your suspension when you hit a bump and don't shoot your suspension back up like the factory bump stops do. These springs are progressive so the more weight or people you have in the back the more they will compress to soften any bumps.
Are you able to feel how bouncy the rear suspension is when you're driving or in the front seats?

Hey Matt, how did the SumoSprings work out for smoothing the ride in your Sequoia? I'm curious to know if they helped with the bumpy ride in the third row.
