Troubleshooting 24 by 60 RV Bumper Cargo Carrier that Hangs Down

Question:

I have a folding rack cargo carrier part e-99049 and it does not hang level? It is almost at a 45 degree angle down? Is there a way to get it to hang level? I do see another hole that maybe you could use to remount it? This is mounted on a 2020 Lance trailer.

Hey Michael, that is definitely concerning. If you see a different hole to use to mount it that definitely could be the issue so I would check that out. Otherwise send me a picture and I'll see if I see anything.

My rack does not hang level as you will see in the pictures. I did not mount the original set up as I bought the Lance trailer used. I emailed the pictures in a separate email. Looking for your reply.

@MichaelL Hey I am really sorry I didn't respond sooner. For whatever reason your emails went to a different folder and I didn't see them until I searched your email. Anyway though it looks like yours is missing the cotter pin that secures it. If I could attach pictures in comments that would be super helpful to show you what I am talking about but since I can't go to the product pictures of the # e99049 and on the second row fourth from the right you can see the pin I am talking about.
