Question:
I am trying to replace the coupler on my car hauler but cannot find one with the right bolt pattern. The trailer is a 9900 lb GVWR aluminum A-frame front inTech from 2011. The couple has a shape similar to a woleld-on hitch but is actually attached with4 bolts.on the top plate and one bolt on each side plate. Any ideas what will match? TIA

Hey Bill! I went to inTech's website and we do not have an exact replacement for their coupler but we have something that will work. It's the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole and Anchors item # DM16680-52.
The Demco item # DM16680-52 fits a 50 degree A-frame and has a 2-5/16" hitch ball just like you original one. It has a bolt on installation with the mounting holes drilled into the sides. This is actually going to be better than trying to line up with your already drill top holes since we know they'll be different.
I really like the Demco item # DM16680-52 because of the eZ latch. It's a simple convenient mechanism that allows you to hook up while the latch is in the closed position.
Why are you needing to replace your coupler?
