Can I Bridge Line1 and Line2 on the Furrion Transfer Switch F50ATS?
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 06/18/2025 >
Question:
Can I bridge the Line1 and Line2 on generator inlet side of this automatic transfer switch? The way I’m looking at it is the transfer switch will disconnect and not back feed into generator side when on shore power therefore it will not be bridged when switched over to shore power. I believe that’s what a 50amp to 30amp dog bone adapter does anyway. Thanks

Hey Nathan I didn't hear back from Furrion this week but either way that sounds like a question for a electrician. I strongly recommend reaching out to one that's RV certified.

Hey Nathan, did you get a chance to consult with an RV-certified electrician about bridging the lines on your transfer switch? I'm asking to see if you found a solution that could help others with similar questions.
