Transfer switch safely alternates between 2 separate 120V power sources to feed your RV's breaker panel. Time delay function allows only 1 input to feed the panel at a time, protecting your electrical system from AC power backfeed.
Features:
Specs:
Furrion's transfer switch is wired to automatically change the primary source of AC current from shore power or an inverter to a generator when available. So, in the case that you unexpectedly lose shore power, the switch will automatically begin to run power to your RV's appliances from your generator.
The switch between power sources is seamless to the point that you won't even notice the difference in power being sent to your appliances and electronics. The 30-amp single pole switch provides 120V AC. To prevent electrical interruptions or damage to the system, the time delay function utilizes a 20-30 second window to switch between power sources. This protects against dangerous backfeed, and keeps the voltage from each power source from being active at the same time.
The time delay function features a bypass switch for inverter power. Since an inverter doesn't need time to warm up like a generator does, you can bypass the time delay for instant transfer from shore power to inverter power.
The plastic case has 10 punch-out holes which allow you to arrange the cables and wiring in whatever way is best for your setup. The included user manual lays out 3 typical setups for you.
The switch wires to your shore power input and generator or inverter input. Both inputs are wired to the AC panel.

Working as designed.
Delivery on time :D
This unit fixed my problem.
It works like a charm. When the electricity goes out it automatically switches over.
It works, but takes almost a minute after power is turned on for.it to switch and energize the panel.
Great, just need to find out if the regular 30 amp hook up will work instead of generator hook up with this transfer switch. Want to put hook up in front of trailer along with original rear power connection.
Very easy to install, well made.

Hi. This is working flawlessly! To avoid using 2 switches I have the inverter to 1 side and shore power to the other. To avoid overloading the inverter I need to turn off converter breaker before switching on the inverter. I have a portable generator which I plug in shore power cord when using. Very happy with the transfer switch.
The switch works very well and has functioned flawlessly in the last year, we've been traveling across the US and Canada.
But, the plastic cover has small plastic tabs, and one of them broke off so now the cover is not sitting securely and I had to use some duct tape. I think a better design would have had screws in the four corners of the cover
This replaced the old Magnatek ATS quite well. It took about an hour total to swap it out. I like the delay chip that you can switch on if one of your sources is a generator. It lets the generator run for 20-3 0 seconds before switching over. Great item and works exactly as described.
As always, great job Justin!
So far so good! Thank you!!
We use this for home backup power when we travel. The inputs are utility power and an EcoFlow battery power station. The output is an extension cord that feeds our refrigerator, alarm system, and a couple of lights. Note that from the factory what they label the Generator input is favored, if both inputs have power that one is chosen. In our case that needs to be the utility power so we put it on the input labeled Generator.
I bought two of these about a year ago. They are both in my 2018 Airstream to switch between 3 different power sources. I haven’t had any troubles with them. I did tighten the screws to the connections about 6 months after being installed. I had some shorting going on and thought it might be the problem.
So far so good. Several trips and camping off grid.
Good performance!

The install went great and the unit still functions like it should. A great product!
This transfer switch is smaller than it should be, which makes it very difficult to install if your trailer wiring uses solid copper wires (rather than braided wiring) and is fairly cheaply made. The pre-installed wire connectors (the spades) do not work well with solid copper wiring, and made it more difficult to install and ended up breaking because they are difficult to get to with crimpers. Lastly, the pop-out holes for the wires to fit through are great if you are using 1/2 inch service connectors. However, my shoreline power chord needed 3/4 inch connector so it was a huge pain to get the hole to the right size. I would shy away from this one and purchase a better one for sure.

So far it continues to work, however there is really no pause between when the generator kicks on and when the power supply starts. And that causes the generator to struggle when it starts up. I wish there was more of a pause and for that reason, I would continue giving this one 2 stars.
