Question:
Hello, we need your expert advice on choosing a weight distribution hitch with sway control for this setup: We now have a 2023 Jeep Gladiator with towing package, but not the Max package. We plan to upgrade to a larger, heavier travel trailer. We are interested in towing a travel trailer with a tongue weight of 380 lbs. and dry weight of 3,800 lbs. What do you recommend? Thank you!

Hey Mike, welcome back and congrats on the new Jeep! The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37040ET, you purchased awhile back is going to work just fine so long as your tongue weight doesn't get over 400 lbs.
If you get over that amount once you're fully loaded and you don't feel like the system is helping you, you'll want to upgrade to the 600 lbs TW item # EQ90-00-0600 or item # EQ90-00-0601 and reuse your current shank. This is the next size up and works with tongue weights up to 600 lbs.
For a 2-5/16" hitch ball you'll need item # EQ91-00-6120. This will work with your current system and the other two I recommended.
What kind of travel trailer are you upgrading to? You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
