I would like a 5th wheel hitch for 2020 2500HD Chevy high country with short bed. It has puck system. I need 20k hitch for uneven ground. Would like simple mount with puck ststem

Hey Kenny, we have the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3710 that is a fit for the OEM pucks of your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 High Country short bed. It has a 20k capacity and an articulating head that allows it to connect on uneven terrain as well. It's widely regarded as one of the best and nicest hitches around as well.

@JamesonC two more questions. How many lube rings would I use in a 5000 mile trip? The previous owner put safety chains on the pin box of my rv. Are these necessary?

@KennyG Normally a lube plate is good for a season or so depending on use. I would assume you'd go through one but I'd have a back up ready like with the part # 16721. You don't have to run safety chains legally but if you want to keep running them there's no downside to it.
