Why Would Roof Rack with Fairing Still Whistle

Question:

Ram 3500 diesel had the fairing on a us rack over the cab to help with rack noise. End up dealing with whistling I couldn’t get ride of even taping joints on the fairing. I finally took it off. This product didn’t work for me.

Hey Richard, that's a bummer to hear. Did the roof rack have rubber covering the top and bottom channels of the crossbars? Usually whistling is that the channel isn't covered and the air passing over it creates a louder whistle.

Hey Richard, did you get a chance to check if the roof rack had rubber covering the channels? I'd love to know if that helped with the whistling issue, as it could help others who might face a similar problem.
