Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 with Animated Taillights

Question:

I HAVE A 2024 GMC SIERRA 2500 HD CUSTOMER IS FLAT TOWING IT. WE BOUGHT A TOW BAR FROM ETRAILER . MY QUESTION IS HOW DO I WIRE THE TAIL LIGHTS . THIS TRUCK HAS LEDS BUT THEY ARE CONTROLED BY A LIGHT MODULE AND THE TAIL LIGHT HAVE A LOGIC MODULE IN THEM THE LOGIC MODULE HAS A POWER AND GROUND WHEN TRUCK IS RUNNING. THE OTHER WIRES COME FROM LIGHTING MODULE WHICH JUST TELL THE LOGIC MODULE TO TURN ON WHICH EVER LIGHT IS REQUESTED BY THE DRIVER . WITH LTZ,HIGH COUNTRY AND ZR2 PACKAGE

Hey John, you'd want the part # BLU56HR for a diode wiring kit that fits the 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 with the animated taillights. I also attached a link on this page to a PDF that details how they install on the new style of taillights the truck has for you to check out as well.

Hey John, did the diode wiring kit work out for your Sierra's taillights? I'm asking because it could give others confidence when setting up their towing system.
