Replacement Step Control Module for 2011 HR Vacationer
Published 10/31/2022 >
Question:
2011 HR Vacationer. The steps extend with the door open amd only retract when I start the ignition. There is 12 volts to the magnetic switch but there is no power to the steps on and off switch on the side of the cabinet. I also disconnected the magnetic switch and the steps did not retract. I am thinking, based on what I am reading, that I may have a bad controller.

Yes it does sound like the control module of your Lippert RV steps is having issues which is causing the problem you are having and the replacement would then be the part # LC301702 that you referenced.
