Can I Use The Yakima SafetyMate Lights On My Yakima OnRamp Lx Bike Rack?

Do the Yakima SafetyMate lights work with the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2 Hitches - Frame Mount Y88DJ? Thank you

Hey Karen,
The Yakima SafetyMate light kit, # Y59VR, is not a custom fit for the OnRamp LX bike rack so it will not work. It is designed for the StageTwo bike rack models
We do not have an option for a specific light kit for the OnRamp LX so you will have to modify or get creative with a different light kit. You could try a kit like # Y74VR, but you would have to figure out a way to install it onto your bike rack. A more universal kit which may be easier to apply to your set up is # C53201. There is not a license plate bracket on this kit, but it will be easier to install on your bike rack.
Could you go without the license plate and just get a universal light kit, or do you need that specific bracket?

Hi Nick, Thanks for your response and clarification. I've opted to use your suggestion for the Curt Auxiliary lighting and ordered this from here. I'm hopeful that this will provide additional visibility on my Yakima OnRamp LX bike rack. Thanks again!
