Question:

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 3500hd ling bed dually 4x4. It has full length aftermarket nerf bars. I am looking to purchase torklift frame mount tiedowns, but I am unsure which if any will fit with the nerf bars?

Hello Thomas, I can definitely help with that. For your 2003 Sierra 3500HD long bed dually 4x4 with full length running boards you will need the following:

- TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL56VV

This comes with both the front and rear tie downs for your GMC. These will work on vehicles with a factory trailer hitch, or with no hitch. Please keep in mind some drilling into the frame will be required. You may also need to modify your running board bracket or bed access step bracket.

Also, the turnbuckles are sold separately, and for that I recommend the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK.

What kind of camper do you have?

Hey Thomas, did the TorkLift tie downs fit well with your nerf bars on the Sierra? I'm asking because your experience could help others with similar setups.

@JesseM They did. I had to put the fronts on the lower setting and they just clear the nerf bars. Fantastic system! Would highly recommend!

@ThomasP Ok cool! Thanks for sharing! A lot of people say the same thing about the TorkLift tie down systems. Glad to hear you are happy with it. Come back anytime you need anything!
